1 – Have you ever decided to stop drinking for a week or so, but only lasted for a couple of days?
i’ve wanted to stop drinking for a month or more (when alisa OD’d) but only lasted a week because everybody else kept drinking.

2 – Do you wish people would mind their own business about your drinking– stop telling you what to do?
No… no one’s in my business with my drinking. Except Caitlyn, who is really the only one who has to deal with me when i’m drunk anyway.

3 – Have you ever switched from one kind of drink to another in the hope that this would keep you from getting drunk?
sure, when i’m already shitfaced. it’s in hopes it’ll keep me from getting drunkER.

4 – Have you had to have an eye-opener upon awakening during the past year?
No, i don’t need or want to have a drink first thing in the morning. i’ve never experienced “shakes” ever.

5 – Do you envy people who can drink without getting into trouble?
I don’t ever get in trouble, not anymore like i did in high school at least. i sorta envy people who can have fun without drinking.

6 – Have you had problems connected with drinking during the past year?
Not with the law, not with my health. Just with people getting annoyed with me.

7 – Has your drinking caused trouble at home?
sure, just petty drama with people who don’t matter anyway.

8 – Do you ever try to get “extra” drinks at a party because you do not get enough?
i don’t go to parties that aren’t hosted by me.

9 – Do you tell yourself you can stop drinking any time you want to, even though you keep getting drunk when you don’t mean to?
yeah.

10 – Have you missed days of work or school because of drinking?
yes. but not significantly.

11 – Do you have “blackouts”?
a lot more in high school than i do now.. i think.

12 – Have you ever felt that your life would be better if you did not drink?
i don’t know, it has it’s pros and cons. i think not drinking would make me deal with my feelings a lot more which can be both a great but very scary thing. some days just deserve to have a beer or something enjoyed with it, and some days just deserve a beer or something to help relax with it. alcohol is so widely accepted universally, it’s hard imagining a life not personally accepting it.
